Early dinner with great friends, short wait, friendly service, and consistently good seafood....in the mountains! Plus a nice combination of price points, with full entrees and "not so much" dinners. One of our favorites!

Our evening last night was great from the start to the end .. Our Server Rachel was so great .. the oysters were wonderful .. I had the special Salmon dinner.. it was so good, my husband has the seafood casserole, beyond delish ... If you haven't been to and if it's been a while since you've been to back .. Terry and John

It has been years since I have been able to eat at Maggie's. I finally remember the alligator bite at the old location on Russ Avenue. Wonderful meal great atmosphere attentive Waits staff. Looking forward to my next visit now that I live back up in this area.

Still in Maggie Valley with the RVers and just didn't feel like cooking, so Mama found this place on Yelp. An excellent choice. Wasn't expecting this good of a seafood place so far from the coast, but I was pleasantly surprised. The fact that we had a 20 minute wait should have clued me in. After we were seated, we perused the menu and made our dinner choices. I opted for the Lobster Colorado (Special of the Day) with twice baked potato and seafood chowder, and Mama went for coconut shrimp with sweet potato casserole and chowder. The soups and meals came out promptly, and our server took great care of us. My chowder was great, flavorful with plenty of seafood in it. Mama's, not so much. Still good flavor but almost no chunks in there. My filet and lobster were perfectly cooked, and super tasty. Potato was very good, great crust on top and light and fluffy inside. Mama's shrimp and sweet potato were reported to be excellent as well. Decor is typical for a seafood place, nothing special. It's a really solid option if you're in the area, which I'm sure we will be again.

We stopped in on Friday evening last week. The place was clean, the service was great, drinks were really good and the food was amazing!!! We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!!

What a pleasant surprise. We didn't expect to find good seafood in the mountains of North Carolina. Maggie's is very good. We had the crab cakes with sweet potato casserole, fried shrimp Po Boy with seafood chowder, and blackened shrimp alfredo. We sampled each other's dishes and enjoyed all of them. The crab cakes had a generous amount of meat as did the shrimp sandwich. The sweet potato casserole was the best I have ever eaten. The only negative was that the alfredo was a bit bland. Nothing a little salt and pepper wouldn't remedy. We were seated right away (we went on a Monday afternoon). Our server was very nice and attentive. We had a bit of a wait on our food but the server explained to us that they had new cooks that were learning. It was very nice of her to tell us that information. The restaurant is huge! It was clean, organized, and the seating was spacious enough that we didn't feel cramped. Our bill came to $41 plus tip. We only drank water. Considering the quality of the food, serving size, and that we ate lunch rather than dinner, we felt the cost of our lunch for three was reasonable. We will definite dine at Maggie's again.

This is a great hidden gym in Waynesville. Absolutely great food!! Best collard greens in the mountains. The soups are great and the seafood options are wonderful and well prepared. Staff are very nice and take great care of us! I'll be back to this place! Great for lunch or dinner

Ate here a couple of days ago. The food was excellent. Service was great. Our waitress was at the table all the time for food and drinks. Very spacious restaurant. The music in the background was nice. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Lots of seafood and steak on the menu. Note: Add Clams and Pasta. I personally like Linguine and clams. That aside; great experience. Great Food and Service. Cost; doesn't matter when the food is excellent. But the cost is very reasonable. Thank you for a great Dining Experience!

Sat night on Labor Day weekend at 5:30 and they were already backed-up. Clearly a local favorite. They have a nice covered screened in porch to wait for your table (unforunately, no outside dining options.....bummer). The menu and options were more extensive than I expected. My bride ordered the broiled salmon ($26) and sweet potato casserole. She enjoyed the sweet potato, but wasn't sure about the salmon (they may have served a type of white fish). I ordered the trout blackened ($17) and it was excellent! Service from Philip was great.
